On November 6th, 1975, Morocco witnessed one of the most remarkable and peaceful demonstrations in modern history — the Green March. In response to a call by King Hassan II (CN8MH), over 350,000 unarmed Moroccan volunteers, carrying only flags, Qur’ans, and olive branches, marched into the southern territories to affirm Morocco’s rightful claim over the Sahara, then under Spanish occupation.
